How it works
TEN facilitates two-way conversations with the goal of building authentic relationships while opening doors to discussions about Jesus.
It is called TEN because there are TEN cards with TEN questions on each card to facilitate TEN conversations with TEN people.
Community Outreach
TEN is designed to stir intentionality. It does this by using the light green outreach cards as a motivation to pursue ten individual conversations with people already in our circles - neighbors, co-workers, family members, friends. At each individual meeting a light green card is given to the other person to keep. After this two-way conversation there will be one less light green card in the envelope. TEN is complete when all of the light green cards are gone!
TEN is about authenticity, not pressure – While authentic conversations may feel uncomfortable at times, no one should feel pressured into any conversation.
TEN is about relationships, not religion – TEN can lead to meaningful conversations about Jesus but the goal is to open doors to authentic relationships, not force people into discussions about religion. To accomplish this, questions 1-9 are not religious in nature, but written to drive deeper conversations in hopes of building authenticity between two people.
Conversely, question #10 uniquely opens the door to a conversation about Jesus that may never happened without the help of the TEN card.
If the person is a Christian – TEN can lay a foundation for deeper relationship that is authentic and remove the masks people wear with each other.
If the person is not yet a Christian - TEN, specifically question number ten, can open doors to conversations about Jesus. Of course no one has to answer question #10 if they are uncomfortable.
There is no time limit to complete TEN conversations with ten people. It could take a year or more, that's ok!

Strengthening Groups
Though originally designed for community outreach, TEN has proven to be a fantastic tool for building relationships of authenticity within groups as well. Many leaders have a strong desire for their team to remove their masks and grow authentic relationships between members internally, however it can be discouraging when they don't see it happening naturally. Contact us for ideas on incorporating TEN into a Bible Study or Small Group event!
TEN is offered FREE of charge with a limit of TEN envelopes. If your group requires more than TEN contact us with details and we can discuss options based on availability.
